You never need to bring a partner to Scottish Country Dancing,
but your friends and family are welcome to join the dance too!

ABOUT US
The Royal Scottish Country Dance Society (RSCDS) is a Scottish Charity dedicated to promoting Scottish Country Dancing with headquarters in Edinburgh, Scotland, UK.  RSCDS has standardized traditional Scottish country dances and publishes newly devised dances each year.  Teachers certified by RSCDS have undergone rigorous testing.  RSCDS offers worldwide dancing opportunities.  To learn more about RSCDS go to http://www.rscds.org.

Houston & District Branch of RSCDS, is a IRC Section 501(c)(3) educational organization.  The Branch was organized in 1978.  Its mission is to preserve Scottish Country Dancing in America by training dancers and offering local opportunities to dance.  Classes and events are held in or near Houston, The Woodlands, Clear Lake, Tomball, and Austin.  Houston area RSCDS classes are taught by RSCDS certified teachers.
